A meeting of the Bennett High Alumni Association took place on January 25th, 2012 at 12:15pm. It was held in the Alumni room of Bennett High School. Larry reported that because Coach McDuffy from Bennett was elected "Coach of the Year", Bennett received $2,000.00 from the Buffalo Bills organization. This is precipitated by the National Football League. Along with two other schools, Bennett has received a "Buffalo Neighborhood Grant. This grant supports health, education and housing services withiin our area. Unfortuately, the funds aare on hold. They come from New York State. Neil reported that we have 734 paid Alumni Association members. WE ARE LOOKING FOR MORE! The next meeting will be held on February 29th, 2012.

A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bennett Alumni Asociation was called to order by President, Irene Greene on September 28th, 2011. New Directors, Elaine Schweitzer and Allan Yasgur were welcomed. New Director Jeff Shapiro was not present. Don gave a report on the Alumni annual brunch which was held at the Park country club on September 18th. Ther wer abput 81 atttendees. Many of the honorees were in attendance. The Sports Hall of Fame will take place on October 1st at Bennett High School. The next meeting of the Alumni Association Board will take place on October 26th, 2011.
